The Design Ranch, Inc. was started in 1988 by Julie Hill. Julie is a creative art director/designer who graduated with honors from the prestigious Art Center College of Design, and found her way back to Oregon, where she started her career in design and advertising. After seven years in the business, leaving a Senior Art Direction position with an ad agency, Julie decided to strike out on her own. Her festering desire to be a cowpoke entrepreneur led to the ground breaking of The Design Ranch. Julie has experience working for a variety of clients. Over the years, with her marketing expertise, she has packaged their goods, advertised their services in both print and TV and done plenty of direct mail and collateral to boot. Her work has lassoed awards such as Addys and Print. In addition to her work at The Ranch, Julie currently teaches Graphic Design and InDesign at Central Oregon Community College. |
